My name is Scott Richardson and I am a sports photographer in Greenfield (Hancock County), Indiana. I provide high quality sports action photographs for families in and around New Palestine and Greenfield.
I got started in sports photography back in 1977 taking pictures for my yearbook at Shelbyville High School. In the last four years, my old passion for sports photography has reignited due to my sons’ participation in various sports activities. Like any parent, I set out to capture my sons’ sports exploits via pictures and got hooked on sports action photography all over again. Other parents soon saw my work and started asking me to photograph their kids’ sporting ventures as well.
Since then I have been honing my skills while photographing multiple sports including football, soccer, swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. During this time I have covered New Palestine High School sports for the New Palestine Press newspaper including the boys basketball sectional championship and subsequent regional play, boys baseball sectional championship, the boys track conference championship and, of course, the girls 2009 softball state championship. I am also a sports photographer for The Daily Reporter newspaper in Greenfield, Indiana.
